National Parks Master List
Updated: Aug 11, 2021
The very first National Park was established in 1872 when President Ulysses S. Grant signed into law the Yellowstone National Park Protection Act. Since then, more and more National Parks have been created and protected.
Today there are 63 National Parks, the newest one being added just this year! New River Gorge in West Virginia is the most recent National Park and attracts many with its white water rapids.
Matthew and I are looking forward to kayaking down those rapids!
But lets not forget about the other 62 National Parks. They're all amazing and have a unique experience to offer.
Below, you'll find a list of all 63 National Parks organized by state. Note that not all states have National Parks, so you won't see them all listed.
